It first starts out with us sitting down and chatting about what you are looking for. We pride ourselves on being knowledgeable when it comes to Chicago and the many different neighborhoods. We can talk to you about what makes most sense in terms of budget, location and building type. Our agents have direct access to the MLS and also have access to off market properties so that we can provide you with as many options as possible.

The next step is to hit the pavement! One of our agents will pick you up and bring you around to see as many units as you’d like! We can help to point out hot spots in the surrounding areas and explain your public transportation options for each unit. We won’t stop until we find you the perfect place. Whether you find your dream apartment the first day we go out to look at places or it takes weeks of searching, we will make sure that you are happy with the results!

Once you have found your dream place, you can sit back and relax. That is when the real work kicks in for us! Our agents will work to get you the best price and make sure that all of the lease paperwork is correct and well documented. We will also continuously communicate with the agent who listed the rental unit to make sure that your move in goes off without a hitch!

If you are a landlord and looking for help filing up your units, you’ve come to the right place!

The first step is to have one of our agents come over and assess your property. Here at X Plus we pride ourselves on being well educated and staying on top of market trends, which allows us to get you top dollar for your units. We will present our thoughts on what we believe the unit could rent for and will provide you with comps for the area so you can get a good idea of what the market is looking like. We are open to both exclusive and non-exclusive listing agreements, depending on what you are looking for.

Our agents have access to multiple platforms so that we can spread the word about your rental listing quickly and efficiently. The MLS and Craigslist are great tools that we use and we also syndicate your MLS listing with multiple rental websites.

Something that set’s us apart from other agencies is that we do not believe in just leaving lockboxes on a unit and hoping for the best. Our agents never miss a showing appointment. We strongly believe that having an agent there to represent the listing is the best option. Not only does that mean we can answer questions on the spot but it also allows us to personally highlight the best parts of your unit and make sure that we are communicating to the potential tenants about just how special the unit is!

We also strive to make our application process as easy as possible for all parties involved. All of our applications are online and the potential tenant pays a fee for submitting their application. The application will allow us to look at credit scores, background checks and provide us with income verification. We also take care of drawing up the lease and making sure that all of the paperwork is organized and well documented.
